Alto Peru is a band from Buenos Aires who play a combo of cumbia and reggae with electronic flourishes and dubby elements.. Definitely check out their original songs onSoundcloud. This remix came together very quickly because I really like the song. I swapped the original's housey drums for some proper dancehall kicks and claps. I think this mix has a Happy Mondays playing cumbia in my garage kinda feel.
